Biography
Aiden Jones is a meteorology major at Millersville University from Emporium, Pennsylvania. He became fascinated with weather during a locally significant flooding event on December 1, 2010 which further broadened into different meteorological topics, including severe weather and tropical cyclones. He is currently looking to gain a better understanding of different mesoscale interactions between supercells, multicellular systems, and the boundary layer that can enhance genesis of tornadoes. Outside of meteorology, he tends to spend time with his cats, family, and friends. He also enjoys playing sports, video games, and his alto saxophone, for which he won the John Philip Sousa Award in his senior year of high school.
